Telegram Web A vs Web K — which client should you open?

Both clients speak MTProto to the same backend, so your chats are identical either way. Web A is the newer React-based build with richer animations and folder support; Web K is lighter, snappier, and better on old hardware or slow connections. Either one honours end-to-end sessions, mute rules, and drafts saved on other devices.

Web client safety notes

Always log out of the browser tab or terminate the session from your phone when you are done — otherwise anyone using the same browser profile can walk into your chats.
Prefer private / incognito mode on public computers; IndexedDB caches are wiped when the window closes.
Secret Chats are only available on the mobile builds — the web client cannot start or read them by design.
